Musings on time scaling

I have a thought. If Big Bang Theory is true as most of us believe or understand and accept as fact, then it has a very interesting consequence. I don't know if anybody has thought this or not; we can do away with our ridiculous methods of tracking time. We can start with t=0 at big bang. I understand time is relative, but for normal purposes we can accept the current definition of the second as defined in SI system. This will do away with time scale based on earth rotation around itself and its revolution around the sun. These scales are not constant and necessitate introduction of leap seconds and years. Also when we move to other planets we can't have earth hours or mars days!!!! We need a common time scale. Also it will do away with the A.D and B.C. In fact it will completely replace the calender. Also the prime source of this frustration is the conversion factor to convert minutes to seconds, or hours to minutes. We can replace it with the beauty and ingenuity of the decimal system. So we have t=0 at big bang. Then we can have a kilosecond,a megasecond ..... Initially this may sound confusing but we ll get used to it. We can use our creativity to create calenders based on this system to schedule our meetings etc. More thought needs to be put into this, but now I have to get ready for work. Also the system of measuring angles need a radical change or maybe relooking (google "gon").

P.S.
1. There is a +/- 0.17 billion years estimate of error in t=0 so we have to arrive at a compromise.
2. Creative views first, critical views second.

interesting thought, but not good for daily use. I think we subconsciously tag t=0 to the moment we live in now, and with respect to that, we term everything else. Yesterday, a month back, "coming" Wednesday etc.

If you start counting from real(???)... ok rather lets call it big bang t=0, it would be like numbering every single household on earth (that too starting with number 0) till the list has been exhausted. Its a tedious task, waste of resources and inconvenient/impractical! Somebody's house number may as well be 78348924758295726 and still miles away from 78349824758295726. Imagine locating somebody's office if there exists an exchanged/extra bit or inadvertent deletion. And this is the case when the house list, in theory is exhaustive, while the time is not. Also when house numbering is discrete, while time measurement is continuous, so one more infinity there as well. Additionally the resolution problems as well because of this continuum. Think about it, some infinities are greater than other infinities, and when it comes to dealing with large numbers we get around the things by simplifying the problem domain to a finite scope, or at least by resorting to smaller infinite set.

No offense, but this freaks me out sometimes. :) I respect your point of view though.
Couldn't figure out the way your theory can make someone smile, happy, satisfied, content or any good for human. Or may be I'm not that foresighted to see any benefit in it in future. Intelligent people are sometimes incredibly stupid. They get involved in something so irrelevant that they skip more important things. Either we can go after infinity, which off course is meaningless as it seems or accept the way it is and think of more useful things.

Sorry for being stupid while reading your P.S.
